My beautiful family!!!!
The pictures look awesome! It looks like you all had a great time in Florida!!! I wish I could have been there, but Spain is pretty cool too so I guess thats ok. thats crazy that Parker Itow is home already! I can't believe he is done and going back to Idaho. That'll be fun though. Mom, I love all that you shared about the missionaries there. I love to hear other missionary stories so that is awesome.
As for Valencia....it's the same old same old. Hermana Alatorre is great. She knows a lot and she is teaching me a lot. I think though that I am going to teach her as well. She likes to take charge, but thats ok cus I'm kinda just a go with the flow anyway. This transfer is going to be interesting though. It's definitely different from the last one thats for sure. Hermana Walker definitely was the best companion I may ever have on my mission. I know though that i can make any situation fun so nothing is going to stop me from having a fun time on my mission as well.
So a couple random things about Spain...mandarins are a huge thing here!! Everyone works in the campos and so we receive mandarins almost every day from people in the ward! It's awesome!
Also there are stores called "chinos" everywhere around here!! They are the best thing I have ever seen! They literally have everything you need for super cheap. When we need something but don't know where to go, everyone always says "togo to a chino". I think im going to miss them when I get back to America!
Also about Thanksgiving....we weren't allowed to go to the Americans (Brother and Sister Wardell) house
because they had missionaries from their ward go...soooooo my Thanksgiving was very interesting. We were in piso all day because hermana Alatorre wasn't feelign well. She slept for 6 hours!!! Let me tell you a piso with nothing to do is sooo boring for 6 hours! There is a picture of my thanksgiving to follow so dont worry! haha. So to say the least Thanksgiving was...great ha. Also, the Wardell family leaves in 2 weeks! I'm really sad because I have gotten so close to them! They are great! She said she was going to email me for the rest of my mission. Do you still talk to her mom? (The Wardell's are from Arizona but brother Wardell has been on a sabbatical in Spain).

My Thanksgiving dinner - Yum! |
We do have plans for Christmas though! Rosemary and Manuel (our investigator and menos activo) invited all the missionaries in our ward over for christmas dinner! She was so cute. She was talking about what we wanted for dinner and if she could get a recipe for something American that she could try and make for us! It was so cute!!! I love them so much! idk why I havent sent a picture of them yet, but I will i promise!
Also, tell the primary thank you for their pictures and letters! It honestly made my day!!!!! I loved them so much!
Well not much is happeing yet, but I know things are waiting for me! I am ready for Christmas and the different customs. Everyone says that I am with hermana Alatorre becuase she is training me to be a trainer. Everyone thinks that I will be training really soon and then I will be a sister trainer leader in the future. Who knows what will happen, but I am ready to learn all I can. I know people are in my path for a reason, and i am ready to find people who are looking for me. I love changes and learning and growing, so I'm pretty sure a mission is perfect for me.
As for Christmas I don't realy know anything yet. I hear we call on Christmas day, but im not sure how it all works. I'll try to figure that out soon for you. I do know we will skype, so make sure all the skype stuff works ok!? It's getting colder down here for sure. Nothing too bad though. It has only rained once in Valencia since I have been here so it's been super nice.
Oh as for the packages dad, there just small things for christmas. Everything inside is wrapped with names on them so you can open the envelopes. I couldn't not send you something! Sorry if they're kinda lame...especially you and Mark. It's too hard shopping for men and finding small things that fit in envelopes ahha. but enjoy!
I love you and miss you so much! Honestly the holidays aren't the same without family, but Manuel and Rosemary are like family now so I guess that counts! Be safe and know that you're in my prayers always!!!l
