Gotta love social media,

This morning we received an email from a neighbor we had (15 years ago) who sent a link to a photo of an MTC choir singing on the steps of the Madrid Spain temple.  He said "I think your daughter is in this photo".  Sure enough she was.  This neighbor has an Elder from his ward at the Madrid MTC right now and his mom had posted the photo on her Facebook.  The photo was originally posted on Instagram by a couple serving in the Madrid temple.  Very small world!

Day #1 - Rachel arrives safely in Madrid Spain

Hola from Madrid

I don´t have much time but I just wanted to say that I am here and everything is great! I am already exhausted but I am so excited and so ready! it just so happens that the one hermana who was on my flight with me is my COMPANION! She is super awesome and I am so ready to start working with her. There were about 10 other elders on my flight and it was awesome! Well I have to go to lunch and keep going with no sleep but I hope you all are doing well! I will write as soon as possible! I love you all so much and you will all be in my prayers!

On Tuesday July 16th, we drove to Los Angeles to pick up my visa from the Spanish Consolate.  It's officical.  I am heading to the Mardrid Spain MTC.
